"A business without a sign, is a sign of no business," so we've heard. Nowadays, more and more commercial establishments and non-profit organizations are beginning to realize the importance of having a website -- of having a web presence on the internet. Even religious denominations and local churches have now begun to join the bandwagon.
When I began to make a website for the Worldwide Church of God (WCG) in the Philippines in 2004, there were not that much church websites that can be found in Google Search for the Philippines. But it's a different story now. More and more local churches, parachurches, mission agencies and denominations are having their own websites. Web evangelism or web ministry has now become part of "doing ministry" in the local church -- at least for some local churches.
When I began an e-mail newsletter for the WCG Philippines sometime in the year 2000 (which lasted up to 2008), web evangelism for many in the local churches was unheard of. Now, everyone's doing it. The internet is truly a new "mission field!" If you know what I mean.
Actually, a local church can make their own website for free by using WordPress, Blogger or some other free sites. Any local church can actually start their own web ministry and thus help spread the good news on the internet. But just in case you may need some help, I can help you create your own local church website. I can give discounted prices for local churches and non-profit organizations.
But creating a website is not enough. Many get excited at creating their own website but have forgotten to consider website maintenance. I can also provide that service at a reasonable price to keep your website updated as your web administrator/webmaster.
Just like the Apostle Paul who worked as a tent maker while doing ministry, I am also now a website maker as I do web ministry/web evangelism as a retired pastor. Please feel free to contact me anytime for any questions you may have on the web services I provide. I just might be able to help.
