Are you a pastor of a local church? If so, there's no doubt you have encountered different types of personality right within your local church. One type is that of a passive aggressive personality. When this kind of passive aggressive trait is present in an organization, a local church or in the family, it can surely cause heartaches, misunderstandings and numerous other problems for those involved (and even those non-involved... to some extent).
Here is how Wikipedia defines the term passive-aggressive behavior -- "a personality trait, is passive, sometimes obstructionist resistance to following through with expectations in interpersonal or occupational situations. It is a personality trait marked by a pervasive pattern of negative attitudes and passive, usually disavowed resistance in interpersonal or occupational situations."

It would look like Noynoy Aquino is going to be the next president of the Philippines. And although about 10% of the votes have yet to be counted, there's no way that Bro. Eddie Villanueva is going to be the next president of the Philippines at this point in time... it would seem to me. I highly respect Bro. Eddie, a man of God, and I have nothing against him. But there's something that really bugged me since a year ago till now...

Six years ago today, my family and I had the rare privilege of driving all the way from Davao City to Fontana, in Clark, Pampanga -- and all the way back! It was an exciting time for the family to have done that. We passed by and slept in some of our friends' homes along the way. After spending some time with relatives and attending a board meeting in Luzon, we went back home the same way all the way from Manila to Davao City.
This photo on the right was taken exactly on the same day six years ago on May 2, 2004 somewhere in Samar on our way to Manila. We were stopped on the way by a mobile checkpoint. No problem. It was a routine checkup. This was during election time for the president and the gun ban was again strictly enforced. And this reminded me of something...
