Will this person with a different set of lens go to hell? For as long as he is not incorrigible and he does not choose hell, he will not go to hell. To a person who has accepted Jesus as Saviour and Lord, what does ignorance of some truth achieve? I have just emailed this hour to a high ranking person that the belief that a Filipino child will not be given birth certificate unless the parents can show a marriage certificate is not true. He may think that there is no true and godly marriage if there is no marriage certificate. What is the truth? When this matter is asked of some pastors, the answer would be: 1) it is better na lang na meron. If you donot know the truth, you will not go to hell. But your ability to lead will be diluted. Some broke up families who were otherwise could have continued honorably were it not for the belief that the set up existing then was not contrary to the will of God. Yes. Not knowing the truth will not send you to hell necessarily. But it will affect your options, your perspective and it will have consequences. It may destroy relationships. It may cause sadness and sorrow. But it will NOT send you to hell. Unless you choose hell as a destination and you are incorrigibly in love with the prospect, you wont end up there by default.
